Getting to Orchard road at 4.30 am

Hi,

I'll be running the Singapore marathon on 2nd Dec (sunday). I need to be at the starting point at Orchard road by 4.30 am.
What are my transport options?

I checked that MRT starts at 6am and busses 5.30 am (SMRT website).
The Singapore Marathon website does not indicate if there are special public transport/shuttle on race day.

Thanks.

From where will you be going to Orchard Road (Scotts Road end or Dhoby Ghaut end)?

I guess at the scotts road end.
The starting point is the junction where Heeren and Mandarin Orchard.
We'll be running towards Dhobby Ghaut.

I am surprised that public transport options does not start earlier at least for the event.

My previous experience in the marathon is that it starts and finished at the Padang so I chose accomodation there.
This year, it seems that it starts at Orchard and end at the Padang.

I just checked the Singapore marathon website and indeed the MRT will be operating earlier that day (under traffic).
Starts at 3 am.

Thanks everyone for your inputs though.
