Morocco Itinerary...please advise.
HI there,I was thinking of during a 10 day tour of morocco. I was intending on spend 3 days in Marrakesh, 2 days in fes, and a 5 day tour with authentic morocco to go camel riding as well as sleep overnight in the desert.
I was wondering if the amount of time in Marrakesh and Fes would be enough? I understand that by train it takes 7 hours one way which would mean I only really have 1.5 days in Fes.
I am more looking to get a feel of each city and really just a highlights type trip due to the amount of leave I have. I intend on going in April, would that be a good time?
Regards,
John

...... you don't say when you'll be in Morocco or where you arrive and depart. Have you got into a good guide book yet, Q+A's here won't be enough.Read signature below, you are attracting attention.

.... on re-reading your post I see April mentioned, a great time to be in Morocco. It might be an advantage to arrive and depart in different places, to do a longer stretch rather than a circuit. Arriving Marrakesh departing Agadir is worth considering, research this interactive site..... http://looklex.com/morocco/index.htm

Im attracting attention? how so? Im not even sure what that means.thanks moroccotraveler. I'll read that website you linked me to. I haven't got exact dates yet as I want to make sure I read enough and know exactly what I want to do and how many days i require.
Tentatively though I am looking at 12-22 April 2013. London to Marrakesh. I'm pretty confident that Fes and Marrakesh is all i want to do but if there was something that is def worth a visit then I would consider it.
