Southeast asia travel adviceHi Everyone,
I am in need of some advice.
In January i will be travelling to the Phillipinnes for 8 days and doing a trip in Palawan from Puerta Princessa to El nido and then visiting Coron for a few days, after which I have 10 days open to explore somewhere else and at the moment I have no idea where to go? I have been considering Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam but thinking maybe later do a trip where I can see all 3 these in one trip, so my other options were Indo, Komdo island maybe, or Borneo or East Timor.
I really enjoy diving but also like to explore a different culture, I will be travelling alone and my budget is not too high, please help with some recomendations of where to visit?

28 days is not long for North Palawan inc. Coron. How are you getting to Coron? Yes probably best to stay in PIs for upto 21 days, save you money and you will see more than hoping between countries for 1 week each.

3It all depends on your entry and exit points, as travel within south east asia involve lots of islands hopping and air travel which can add up to your costs..
Palawan is next to Borneo, and with 10 days to spare, you have a few options, again depending on your exit point.
Kudat, the northern most tip of Sabah and Borneo would be your entry point, and then down to Kota Kinabalu, then either eastwards up mount kinabalu, and sandakan for turtles and sepilok, then Kinabatangan and Danum valley at Lahad Datu and Semporna for sipadan islands and diving. Tawau could be your exit point to KK, or you can proceed to Indonesian Kalimantan thru Tarakan onwards.
From Kota Kinabalu, you can also proceed by ferry to Labuan Island, then enter Brunei via Serasa, and Bandar Seri Begawan, and diving around brunei bay, onwards to Miri for Niah caves, or Mulu caves, and exit Miri to Kuala Lumpur or continue westwards to Kuching and/or Pontianak in West Kalimntan and exit.....
hope the above helps in your planning.
