Halong Bay - very different from Ko Phi Phi?
Hi!In December we are going to Thailand and Vietman.
Please let me know if Halog Bay is very different from Ko Phi Phi.
Once I saw Ko Phi Phi and Pha Nga Bay, maybe there is nothing new in/no need to see also Halong Bay?
Please advise.

I didn't think it was quite that bad!! Rather enjoyed it! Especially waking up on a boat in the bay and seeing the morning mists over the water and the karsts rising spectacularly out of the ocean. But, it is very similar to Krabi. And indeed, some stretches along China's Yangtze. Still worth a visit though if you have the time, in my opinion.
