Look for Cost U Less, They have bulk food. Which will be cheap.I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy food on Sunday. I personally didn't shop at Cost U Less in St. Martin, but did so In Guam, looks like the same chain.
Just be aware that the draw bridge on the dutch side only opens twice a day, and the french side opens at noon, otherwise you will be trapped in the lagoon. So maybe spend a little time enjoying the island. Or conversely leave by the dutch gate in the early AM, and dingy in to shop while anchored outside the road stead.
