Weekend in Miami
I have a weekend in Miami in mid-December. Looking for itinerary ideas. Local cultural stuff, good eats, especially local fare like Cuban or other Caribbean influenced stuff. Also like relaxing on the beach, but more swinging in a hammock type beaches without the crowds. Not a fan of stuff like nightclubs.Or I'm also thinking about just picking up a rental car and getting out of town for the weekend, to Key West or one of the other Keys. Any recommendations for other spots within a couple hours of Miami? I like nature, too, is it easy to arrange visits to the Everglades or Dry Tortugas by ferry by just showing up or should I reserve in advance or with a tour?

You need to get out of the xMIami area.The Keys are a good relaxation destination, but not a good beach destination.

You don't need to "arrange visits." You get in your car, and go.or Dry Tortugas by ferry
I would reserve the ferry.
