3 months travelling - advice please!
Hello!I've got 3/4 months of travelling with a budget of £5500 in total....
I'm pretty open on where I go, but I don't really want to see Europe, Aus or NZ. My main idea was India, Vietnam, Thailand and Japan or LA but I'm not sure if I'll have enough time/money to do it?
Any ideas or suggestions? I'm really open to travelling anywhere in Asia so if you have any other places that you think would be easier/cheaper please let me know. A few people have sad forget India and head to Malaysia instead.
Thanks in advance!

You dont say where you are starting so its hard to judge airfair costs but thats a good budget for se asia. India is a big place and you could spend months there. The se asia loop (vietnam, thailand, cambodia and laos) is often done in around 3 months, has alot to offer and is pretty cheap. You could look at malaysia, borneo, indonesia, myanmar.... I guess you need to think about your interests and do some research as to what best fits in with that.Out of interest have the people telling you to drop india been to india?

I spent 3 months in India and absolutely loved it. I long to go back and probably will in 2014. I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss it, but I agree with #1 - Figure out what your interests are and start there. India has a lot to offer.
