Travel from Ephesus to Athens

What is the best way to travel form Ephesus to Athens?

Pegasus Airlines have cheap flights on Mondays and Fridays otherwise you may need to go to Istanbul and fly from there,probably no cheaper but maybe more flights.

No,there are no direct ferries AFAIK.

Regular ferry connections between Kusadasi (Ephesos) and Samos Island start in April (may be earlier). Daily ferries from Samos to Piraeus (port of Athens).

You asked for the best - not the slowest. :>))
But 'best' can mean different things to different people. The cheapest, for example, would probably be bus back to Istanbul then another bus to Athens.
