I still remembered the mental crunches I experienced growing in Singapore (e.g. Singlish evolved from these crunches). And communicating with Management in Singapore wouldn't be easy, as their mind and heart are closed (too focused on BS Propagandas and Bonuses).
Btw, I was in Singapore for a while during the first outbreak of SARS, and I have seen how people treat each other (even among family and friends). It was depressing. As compared to places like Hong Kong, we are really third world

Yes, I agree. The thing about KPIs is that it is based on the principle that the interests of the staff and the 'clients' are aligned.
