Hi John, that was my forth trip this year and it’s good to be home for Christmas this year. I was going to post a trip report but J deleted the report in her rush to delete some unflattering pictures of herself in the computer. Anyway she asked me to say hi to you and your wife. It was 2 weeks of the festival ballet in Havana while we were there. We took an unofficial back stage tour of the theater courtesy of a security guard. Each night they showed the destruction caused by cyclone Sandy over and over again on Cuba TV with Raul center stage directing the relief effort and promising solidarity, Lots of new restaurants where J can dress up and dine with the rich and famous. The latest fashion is the British flag on the clothing, shoes and purses. Here are some recent photos of her playing it up for the camera. Click on view as slideshow.

Of course that was a real cherry, red on the outside and sweet and juicy on the inside. We went bar hoping the night before and the bartender gave her a small plastic cup of cherries they serve in their drinks. I think she been watching too many videos and boasted she could tie the stem with her tongue. The beach was Cayo Santa Maria. How time fly …..give our good wishes and congratulation to the Mrs A on her citizenship. Drinks all around the next time you are in Cuba.
