Yeah, but.... Unless I'm missing something TET 2013 is Feb. 10th a Sunday, so the holiday will start on the 9th (TET eve) Sat. The OP will be long gone before TET even begins to be an issue. I've found that Saigon is empty over much of the holiday as folks have returned to their village. So, there should be lots of rooms. Different story in any resort area, hotels there will be packed!As B_C says transportation just before and after TET can be a hassle!
