Vancouver for a mini get away

Hello,

My boyfriend and I are taking a mini road trip this weekend stopping in Seattle, Vancouver, and Oregon. I was hoping someone could suggest the "must see" things to do while we are in Vancouver. We will be there for such a short amount of time I want to make sure we get the best of it.

Thank you

Not sure what some of your interests are, but a few things I enjoy doing around Vancouver are going to the Meager creek hot springs, the Vancouver aquarium, China town, doing some skiing/boarding at Whistler, and of course there are a myriad of hikes/ kayaking to do as well. The Vancouver Aquarium is also located in Stanley park, which has a huge seawall and also happens to be a rainforest within minutes of all the hustle and bustle of downtown. Have fun!

If you're just doing a roadtrip for the weekend, I'm having a tough time seeing how you're going to fit anything other than driving, eating and sleeping in based on your destinations.

I don't know Seattle very well, but if you're doing a 'road trip', I'm guessing you do like driving a lot and you could drive through Gastown and around Stanley Park in Vancouver. You could also drive over the lions bridge and drive up a mountain.

P.S Just found out Meager hot springs has been closed since 2009, doh! So dont try to do that. =P
