Visa for China
Hello,I need information on the visa for china.
I explain you. I'am leaving for a trip, the first stop will be India and Nepal and in the original plans would have to go to China.
I tried to ask about the embassy for a visa, I was told that I could have provided only a single entry visa for a period of three months.
Do you know if I can apply for a visa in India or Nepal or Thailand?
thanks

Hi leleb00!Welcome to TT!
Do you plan to go overland from Nepal to China? In that case you'll need to get a permit for Tibet too (if it's opened for foreigners on your travel dates).
I was told that I could have provided only a single entry visa for a period of three months.
What visa are you looking for? A longer one? A double/multiple entry?
BTW, as with all the questions about visas, to know the passport that you hold is a relevant piece of info.

Getting a Chinese visa in Bangkok is very simple - just takes one day for a turn around.5
How long ago did you get a Chinese visa in Bangkok?? IAll the latest reports say you need to supply either a letter of invitation OR flights in and out plus booked accommodation. There are other things you need but what they are can be found doing a search. There6
Thank you all for the answers.I have the Italian passport.
I get into China from Nepal, but if I can get a Chinese visa in Thailand, I will visit first Mynamar north thailand and laos. Then get in china in April overland from Laos. What do you think?
I read a lot and I asked for a Chinese visa at the consulate also in Italy, but I did not get reliable answers.
I would like to stay in China for two months, but in my itinerary I will not go to Hong Kong or Macau.
Ciao

What do you think?I assume you know you can't cross Myanmar overland. If you plan to enter from Nepal, plan it carefully and get as much info as possible.
