Hostel on an island at Halong Bay
Hi Guys!I'm off to Vietnam in July 2013, and would like to spend a few days on a island in Halong Bay. Can some one maybe recommend a place? On Hostel World I only see one hostel and it seems it is in the city, which I do not want.

How about Cat Ba Island, plenty of decent cheap hotels along the seafront and decent beaches nearby..2
I think the best way to discover Ha Long Bay is on a cruise, an overnight cruise is perfect. There a lot of cruises and junks sailing in Ha Long Bay. The Emeraude cruises (www.emeraude-cruises.com) is among the best.Regards,
