3 to 4.5 months during rainy seasonHy everyone,
I'm travelling (backpacking) with my girlfrend to indonesia for three months starting the beginnnig of Januray, and after our three months together she'll be heading back home, I'll be staying a little longer in SA Asia afterwards (1-1,5 months).
We don't want to hurry from one place to the other during our stay just to see famous places, but we prefere to stay a little longer in a little less places so we can enjoy and understand the different atmospheres better of the parts we 'll visit.
We are aware about the max.60days visa issue and that we'll have to extend it during our stay / have to do a visa run. But I guess it's neighbouring countries aren't too bad eather to stay for a couple a days :-)
Our main concern is that we 'll be travelling during the rainy season about all the time, but it's a huge country so I guess i't won't be raining everywhere all the time. We ve been to some other (sub)tropical countries during their rainy season so we know i't s not that bad and that the rain has its advantages as well.
Hopefully I can find some good advise here about some nice routes to follow during our stay, avoiding the heaviest musssons.
Oh yeah.. we prefere a more active vacation, (trekking to explore the nature, diving, surfing?, ..)
