best destinations - central america
This may sound like a vague question, but - can anybody recommend a destination in central america? We're a young couple after culture, beautiful beaches, good food, relaxation, lots of sightseeing - we love natural landscape, - not really the backpacking type though we're q flexible with budget as we want an almost honeymoon experience! - we do like a bit of luxury! :)1
You don't say how much time you have which would impact my recommendations. I'll assume you have at least 2 weeks and recommend Guatemala combined with Belize or Honduras for blue water. Roatán has nicer beaches than what we've seen in most of Belize, though the beaches at Tranquility Bay are pretty gorgeous and we loved being able to flyfish unguided and snorkel from shore there. Good food...IMHO food is average everywhere in CA
Relaxation...anywhere outside the big cities
Natural landscapes...anywhere in CA.

Monteverde looks pretty adventurous! we're after something beachy and relaxing...any suggestions for Costa Rica...? Or shall I go for Mexico - Riviera Maya...SO confuuused!
