Hurghada - Sharm El Sheikh ferry

Hurghada - Sharm El Sheikh ferry
Hi,Does anyone know whether there is still a ferry operating between Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh and if there is, the times, location of the ferry terminal and how easy it is to buy tickets.

Hi Richard, as far as I know the ferry is still operating. The harbor is located in Hurghada Cornishe Rd. near of the New Marina (little bit to the left), once you're there just ask about the exact location. You won't get lost. I've found this page http://www.ask-aladdin.com/ferries.html which seems to be reliable. Unfortunately I can't tell you where to buy the tickets, but I guess you can buy them right in the harbor. I've been in touch with the operator a few weeks ago and there is NO ferry between Sharm and Hurghada.3
Did they say if this was a permanent thing or seasonal? Friends and I are looking at a trip next summer and we were hoping to do Hurghada - Sharm El Sheikh - Dahab for some diving/snorkelling. We really want the Sinai leg for some trekking, too.ADVERTISEMENT
