Cambodia Laos 4 week Itinerary

Good day everyone

I am hoping you maybe able to help me out if you have done this trip already. I am looking for an itinerary for roughly 3 - 4 weeks through Cambodia and Laos. If its enough time or if I should just spend one month in either of these places wandering around.

Thanks for your help and happy travels!

You could do the highlights of Laos and Cambodia in 4 weeks, with a couple of flights and save that additional month for another amazing part of SEA:
Laos:
Luang Prabang
Kuang Si Waterfall
Plain of Jars
Vang Vieng
Vientiane
Pakse
4000 Islands
Cambodia:
Phnom Penh
Siem Reap
Angkor Wat

Thanks for the tip.

I'll use this as a base. I might be able to squeeze 5 weeks in but its iffy if I can. I really want to see Angkor Wat, other then that I try to stay away from the touristy areas. I also don't like to be rushed and I know I have little time to do what I want, I may just do Cambodia if anything. Who knows I am not much of a planer, just like to have an idea to work off of.

If you are doing two countries in four weeks you are doing the touristy areas. If Angkor is definite, fly into Siem Reap. Then either explore Cambodia or zip by bus to 4000 islands (or plane to Pakse, ~USD175 maybe) and explore Laos. Save the other country for another time.

Thanks Rasheed

I'm thinking that I may just do one of the countries. Either Cambodia or Laos.

If you want to go to less touristy places check some of these out

Stick to one country - in cambodia although there are quite a few tourists places like Kratie and Kampot are nice towns and you could stop off at some of the smaller towns as you travel between centres as well as get out more off the beaten track
