My husband and I will be visiting Split for 3 days in June, and would love recommendations on accommodations. Our budget is $100-250 per night. We will not have a car, so walking distance from restaurants, shops, etc is important to us. Thank you in advance for any tips you can provide!2
For Dubrovnik I would highly recommend the Hilton. It is right in the middle of the old town. It is the only hotel I believe inside the walls. Very convenient and the service is also fantastic. We stayed there for new year a few years back.3

Rooms are OK, prices in low season are quite competitive, and the location is absolutely the most central you can imagine, practically at the middle of the "riva" seaside promenade, walking distance to the airport bus stop, bus and train station, and ferries...
