Tours to Spain-Portugal-Morocco

A friend and I are thinking about taking a Cosmos tour that covers these three countries in 16 days. Yes, I know it will be a rushed schedule and that's why we're considering the tour--we have limited time. Plus, we are willing to sacrifice independence for ease of travel. Anyone have any experience with Cosmos or other tour companies in these countries?

Sounds like a great idea if you want to spend your holiday on a coach exploring motorways. Visiting three countries will give you an opportunity to study differences in noise barriers.

The solution to a 'rushed schedule' is not rushing in a group.

It is making the 'schedule' less rushed.......or even not having a schedule at all.

I don't know the details of your tour but it's obvious that with only 16 days you won't be visiting those countries but only part(s) of them. In fact, with only 16 days you wouldn't be able to visit one of those countries but only part of it...

Hi

We have used Cosmos Tours 3 times and can highly recommend them. However don't cram in 3 countries on a tour. There is an incredible amount to take in and you will seriously regret it. You will spend an extraordinary amount of time on the coach. Don't believe me? Grab an atlas and work out the driving distance and time between destinations. We did the Grand Tour of Spain - http://www.cosmostours.com.au/2012/our-tours/Europe/France-Iberian-Peninsula-and-Morocco/Spain-and-Portugal/6850-GRAND-TOUR-OF-SPAIN. It was sensational! It's a 15 day tour so it fits your schedule perfectly. I share your enthusiasm for Portugal and Morocco. But to give Spain just a cursory visit is a real shame. Trust me the Spain tour will not disappoint.

For sure, bus tours are not for everyone. That itinerary looks like you would need a holiday afterwards. 9 cities in 15 days....thats called a glancing blow.
