Problem with visa: help!Hi,
Me and my friend are going to Myanmar in february. We both live in France. I'll get my visa easily as a French citizen. But my friend is Dutch. He called the Dutch ambassy in Bordeaux and they told him to go to Brussels to get his Burmese visa!
Most of the time, I send my passport to an agency to get my visas (paying extra money), as I don't live in Paris. It's fast, convenient and not that expensive. But that's for the French citizens.
Is there such an agency for Dutch citizens (in Netherlands or in France)?
Thanks for your help

3Most in Europe send it to the Embassy in Berlin they have a website takes a couple of weeks and cosst about €20 post recorded delivery and also pay for recorded return postage and 2 passport photos 2 forms downloaded from their website, mind you a weekend in Brussels/ Berlin sounds good too lol, depends which border you are closest too, but then being English that's all "Double Dutch" to me .
failing that get it in Bangkok before you fly out from there airasia to Yangon

5Myanmar has a permanent mission to the United Nations and other international organisations located in Geneva, Switzerland. It issues visas to all nationals with a valid passport. The fee for a tourist visa is CHF 30. A return ticket is required. Processing time is stated to be about 7 working days.

Thanks. Can you tell me more how a visa on arrival works? You fill in a form and you get your visa in Yangon?

10From Holland I recently applied for the visa at the Berlin Embassy and it worked very well.
Here you find the application form:
In october this year there were 3 weeks between sending and receiving back my passport with visa. But I read that the processing time is now 4 weeks.
If you do it by post: Berlin worked well for me.
