Paraty for 5 days?
Hey guys,Just booked 6 weeks in Brazil and can't wait! I'm going to be spending 5 days (only, unfortunately) in Paraty and my question, to any of you who can help ease my 'dilemma' :) is this:
Should I spend 5 days in the Paraty part itself or in Trindade? There's a really cool hostel in Trin I'd like to visit, but Paraty's colonial town is wonderful apparently- however, I hear the Paraty beaches aren't too great and you have to go on ah hour bus ride to reach nice ones.
My idea is to stay somewhere close to a nice beach, nice vibe, nice people!
And help?

Are you planning to go to Ilha Grande as well? I'd spend a couple of days in Paraty to see the historic architecture and take a boat ride to Trindade, and then go to Ilha Grande for a few days.2
5 days is too much for Paraty, in my opinion.3
I also think that 5 days is too much for Paraty.If the options for these 5 days are only Paraty or Trindade, I would spend 2 in Paraty and 3 in Trindade

Agree with all, you only need 2 days probably in Paraty.I would suggest doing what Guisan suggests, or Amobr82 says. Spend a few days in either Trindade or Ilha Grande.

I've really enjoyed Trinidad, it's worth dividing your time between Paraty and Trinidad (probably 2-3 days ratio is best idea)Just avoid Trinidad in the weekend and it's too crowded, otherwise it's really fun, like Ilha Grande but without all the hype and more reasonable prices and accommodation
Boat ride is unnecessary hassle and expense, Trinidad is easy accessible by bus
