Manali-Leh closed five days ago , Srinagar-Leh is open ( heading that way right now ) , often open a lot longer. No hard news , but I assume the Kunzum La went out the same time as the Rohtang. Updates on my blog below.7
"Officially closing" means the BRO states every year that after this point we won´t try to get you out . State buses continue to run in good conditions.Crossed the Zoji La & Fotu La two days ago :not a single snowflake to be seen. If you look very closely you can see narrow bands of ice along the streams in shaded places.
