No personal experience in Managua but you could read through the reviews at 123teachme.com for a start.

I studied with Viva Spanish School in Managua. It was a good school with competent teachers, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. I ended up making some contacts and contracting a spanish teacher directly, being charged less and paying them more. AND they came to my house which was super convenient for me (though if you try to go this route, keep in mind the spanish schools don't take kindly to their teachers working under the table).

I have studied in lots of Spanish schools and I would say that as a school I would rate Viva 8/10 and the two profs I had 8/10 as well.

Good luck!

I've had a lot of guests study at La Mariposa in la Concha located outside of Masaya/Managua area and they rave about it. www.mariposaspanishschool.com
