I guess he'll have to call up Treasury to get some fresh, new American banknotes for the trip. He'll be explaining to Geithner that he needs bills with no tears, rips, stains, blemishes or old ones. Because...you know...those have no value...

Think we'll get a "tear down this wall"-style speech? Not likely. Be prepared for some forgettable platitudes...

Probably wants to remind Myanmar they now can they take their rightful place as America's newest puppet, I mean why else would a US president go to a country like Myanmar unless it plans to manipulate the people, or the resources of that country in some way. Also, why do we still glorify Obama, he is just a continuation of his predecessor, i.e. starting wars (Libya), making threats (Iran), and squashing internel change (Wall street protests). Obama is just a celebrity, an airhead being thrown around to fool the world America has changed.

Myanmar is one bright spot in the Obama foreign policy arena, and lets not take away from the fact a lot of Burmese will benefit from the new conditions, and not living in fear, as there were just a few years ago. There has been a lot of change in Burma, and for the better on all levels. One step at a time. The US didn't build a $300 Million embassy, one of the most modern in the world, in Yangon in 2007 for nothing...haha

I think the more tourists come to Burma the better it is for the Burmese.
The sanctions gave them a big set back in time.

#8, and #9 I think if you stop thinking economically, you will understand better what I meant.
