divebuddy wanted - Cambodia, januari 2013
Hi all,Next januari I will be in Cambodia for a few weeks and i want to go scuba diving. I'm looking for a buddy. I am a 28 year old male, PADI AOW diver with over 50 dives. Most of those dives are made in the Netherlands.
Are there any other divers in Cambodia who want to go for a dive? Please contact me.

Because there are bound to be some slow days for dive shops. Would be a shame to wait for somebody who isn't coming.Besides, I think it's best if you know your buddy before you go of for a dive. It's better to discuss a dive plan before you're on the boat.
And last but not least, I think its better to pick a buddy as opposed to get a buddy assigned. I remember a dive in Turkey, i just got my open water. They only asked me if i knew how to dive, nothing about experience. I ended up with a buddy who wasn’t even open water qualified and a DM who wanted to go to a 20 meter deep cave. I didn’t really like that, so now I try to avoid situations like that.
Hence the search for a buddy :-)

50 dives wow! I suggest you make a dive plan, 10 more dives you can do your divemaster dive and see if you can pass the snorkel test:) Honestly It's not worth wasting your money on the diving here in Cambodia is depressing just like it is in Nha Trang Vietnam, nothing to see and dirty water the big event will be looking at nudibranches.
