Ireland Itinerary plan?

Hey guys,
I've just written up a plan of attack for my Ireland trip.
I arrive on the 3rd of January and so far this is the plan, open to absolutely any suggestions or other places to visit as I have the time to extend the trip 3 or so days!
Dublin 3 nights
Kilkenny 1 night
Clonakility 1 night
Cork 2 nights
Kenmare 2 nights
Killarney 1 night
Dingle 2 nights
Doolin 2 nights
Galways 2 nights

Thanks to any suggestions!

You're driving?

I might think that 2 nights in Kenmare is too much. Have you considered a night in Kinsale?

Allow longer than you think for driving in Ireland. Keep your eyes peeled for the weather. You could find your way impeded by snow.

You could add extra days to Dublin for day trips such as to Howth, Newgrange,Belfast or Wicklow. You could add days to Clonakilty for day trips to Skibbereen and Baltimore. Galway is another you could add day/s to to visit Aran Islands.

In Cork visit nearby Cobh (say cove) and visit the towns heritage centre
next to the railway station.
Galway, drive out to Connemara
Youtube the following " AT YOUR SERVICE PART 1 "
followed by PART 2 and PART 3
enjoy your trip.

In Cork visit nearby Cobh (say cove) and visit the towns heritage centre...next to the railway station.

Hey Fletch, are you working for that centre in Cobh, or have some other connection?...every second post of yours is a plug for that exhibit and/or town...it really isn't worth a detour unless heading out that way...towards Kinsale, for example...

Hey guys, I've just written up a plan of attack for my Ireland trip.

jsksrs, seldom in the history of TT has so much effort been out into assembling such a trip...this must be the 3rd or 4th time you've come back to us for another bout of minor tweaking...having said that, try and go to Cork before striking out for Clonakilty...and, as Mark said above, most would consider 2 nights to be excessive for Kenmare but it is a good base if you maybe intend to explore the scenic Beara peninsula...but you could easily take that day off Kenmare and add it to Killarney to allow time for touring the Ring of Kerry and/or some of the many beauty spots in that area...

But at least you've had the good sense to abandon the idea of a night in Adare...))

hahaha I know I'm starting to feel annoyingly repetitive. First big trip and first trip alone so I'm trying to do it perfect. Have also put a lot into saving for this so I'm trying to do it right :) Thanks for your help though haha!!!!

As far as I can see, you've got it just about right now...all you need now is the weather!...best of luck with all...
