You're definitely hot and bothered about all the whiners and you don't even know it. Maybe a cold shower, standing pat?The point isn't that it's "boring," or "repeat." It's also not a completely nonsensical question, say, about some language "only spoken in D.F." for example, but in rather something worth discussing, especially when the OPs repeatedly show up with problematic – let's not say suspicious – lack of research (let's not call it ignorance) and misconceptions that need to be shot down again and again every time they try to fly.
I'm sure there are all kinds of deeply foolish questions that would get some kind of a response out of you, perhaps they have just not been asked recently?

Ryan, I.m from Calgary YYC, and off to Mazatlan on the 16th the same hotel where the assualt took place. I'm feeling quite safe. Have never travelled to Mazatlan, usually Ixtapa. The story about the assualt is very hush hush here too. But looking forward to our trip. We love Mexico, and have gone over a dozen times and always loved it...17
yes but there was a relationship between that ex-pat and the one that was killed last January. Still Mexico is a safe place, keep your eyes open, head up, and travel as a tourist and you will be fine. We love Mexico. there is so much violence with gangs in all Canadian major cities you could be killed there by accident, just the same. Go enjoy Mexico it is beautiful and so are the people.18
RUJO31, you probably don't hear it very often, but United Statians actually like Canadians a lot! Not that your post implied otherwise! Just that maybe we should say this more. And we all love Mexico. You will probably not hear a thing again about that weird assault, and why should you? It had nothing to do with Mazatlan, Canadians, or anything else sane. Enjoy your trip, and visit the Centro, and plan to spend a day on Isla de las Piedras, possibly at Lety's. I'm sure you'll feel safe, and more importantly, you will be safe!
