I am going to Burma on 10th November. We are traveling to the big 4, Yangon-Bagan-Mandalay-Inle lake. We sorted accommodation of our first destination Yangon but we haven't reserved anything onwards. We plan to fly from Yangon to Bagan, taking boat (Malikha 2 Ferry) from Bagan to Mandalay, then a shared taxi from Mandalay to Inle lake and last fly back to Yangon.
My questions are :
1) Do I need to sort out all the domestic flights and ferry now before I go , if yes, how? can you recommend a travel agent?I checked Air Bagan and Air MAdalay, i seems I can't book flights directly with them.
2) Do I need to book accommodation now for all our stays or just go along and then book one step ahead when we are in the country. ( I did this when i traveled in India, of course different country, different situation) .
Start panicking while reading all the reports, difficulty getting flights seats and accommodation and only have one week to go.
Thank you in advance.

16all will be well, just follow the threads and prebook the day you arrive for next stage ie yangon tel ahead to Bagan for place to stay prebook if possible from previous GH and I would take the overnight bus from Mandalay to Inle and from inle back to kalow and overnight bus back to Yangon the day before you depart as sometimes the flights get dealyed from heho due to mist also ensure you get to see balloon festival; 22nd to 29th Nove

17Thank you Montyman, you saved my life :-). I was literally panicking when I tried to book hotel in Bagan on Agoda and all the hotels for my stay( 13th Nov) for 4 nights were fully booked except 2 expensive ones. I booked one of them because I can cancel it free of charge one day before my check-in.
For flights tickets, can I just book domestic flights once I am in Burma?I tried to contact a few agents listed on LP but haven't got any reply yet.
And does Malikha 2 ferry run every day on November? I am planing to take ferry from Bagan to Mandaly on 17th Nov.
Yes, it's a good idea to beak up the journey between Inle Lake and Yangon.
Sorry for all the questions.

19I think this November will be the craziest ever in Burma, I thought last year was jam packed but still rooms were available but Inle was packed out as was the balloon festival and if you haven't been it is a must do and you will regret it if you don't. I never go where they try and shepherd the tourists away from tye action and my fleece has loads of burn holes from rockets that have misfired. In the video which is on its side as I don't yet know how to edit it into an upright position I was behind a car and arocket hit my leg and set my leg alight I looked down and was about to stop filming when local person was putting out the flames running up my leg so I carried on Ha! Ha! you will find somewhere even if just a shed with two beds in it who cares the showers will eb hot the sheets clean and the breakfast will make up for it even last year jam packed I still paid only $5 & $6 single in Inle B&B this year I reckon it will cost $10 and ask that if you have double twin singles room you offer to share them
When it goes wroong

21I'm keeping it to myself but Edinburgh dorm rooms at High St Hostel, around £10 a night and London Sth Kensington opposite the Museum and 2mins from Underground £37 B&B around £15 B&B, my last time there for 2 people, twin double. Breakfast was cereal coffee toast and jam basic but clean. heathrow airport £25 B&B feltham 2mins walk to bus stop that goes direct to each terminal LHR.
staff at these places would not work for $30 per month in Burma as minimum wage UK is around $10 per hr lol so it looks like its rip off the tourist season in Burma over the next few months. sadly they think for now not the future.end up being a bit like Bhutan, to think its only 8yrs now they stopped demanding you purchase $200 in FEC's at immigration
