Canastra National Park tours?
Hello all,We will be traveling to Brazil next year and are keen to see wildlife. Apart from the Amazon and Pantanal, we would like to go to Canastra National Park, about 3.5 hours from Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) (anteaters, maned wolves, et al.).
Has anyone any recommendations for a local guide in that region?
There is very little info online.

Hi!I have no idea if you are off to Brazil already but I have heard good stories about Maritaca Turismo in the Minas Gerais area (Sacramento they are located). They do tours to Canastra NP and are very keen on sustainable/eco tourism. If I would go to that area I would personally first get some information from them. I've liked their page on Facebook and I see the most beautiful pictures uploaded reguraly. They seem very professional and I think they won some prices too.
