Struggling with insurance
Hi all,I have a one way ticket to Melbourne on 7th November, am looking at spending
Some time in Aus and hopefully being able to get a second year visa to be able
Stay a hit longer, however have hit a stumbling block as everywhere I try to get
Insurance from, I have to have a return ticket to the UK.
With not knowing exactly how long I'm going to be gone for, have only booked a
One way ticket.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Cheers
Greg

Second worldnomads. They allow you to buy insurance while 'on the road', something many insurance companies will not do. You can therefore extend your coverage if you get that 2nd year. You will have to enter 'UK' as your country of residence when you first start filling out their online application to see what it will cost you. Bear in mind that what that is all about is where you will be repatriated to in the event of a major illness/injury. What you pay differs depending on what country you 'tick'.
What they will not insist on is a return ticket already bought. Apply for 1 year now and extend later if needed.
