Bogotá? Cali? Medellín? I am just curious who planned this itenerary for you? Make sure you take a lot of underwater pictures of the coral reef and colored fish while snorkeling in Medellín, and please post them so we can see them.

I'm a bit puzzled like poster #1. If you're not interested in cities and looking for beaches, why would you have five cities, including three that are far from the sea, in your itinerary?

In my opinion Old Provenience Isla is the best with the clearest water, abundant fish, and live coral..

If your principal interest is beaches then Isla Providencia, Capurganá and Nuquí or Bahia Solano.

I am also planning on going to San andres or providence for some diving and chilling. I am trying to figure out the cheapest best way to do this. So please let me know if you find out.

San Andres and Old Providence are not cheap Islands. You will pay more for just about everything then you would on the mainland especially if you are a tourists. If you make friends with an Islander they may be able to steer you to some safe less expensive places to eat and sleep. We receive over 400,000 tourists a year 90% mainland Colombians on package deals. Depending on what you want Hostels and Hotels are as low as 50,000 pesos and as high as 300,000 + pesos per night. Food (diner )runs from 8000 pesos on up depending on location. We don't have much crime here but I would be careful in the cheaper places.
