Rome Metro Line A Opening Hours
Hi all,Quick question for anybody in or who has visited Rome recently. I will be arriving at Ciampino airport on Thursday evening after 9pm and was hoping to get the Cotral bus to Anagnina metro station into the center. However I've read in a few places that this line (A) has been closed at 9pm as they do some repair work. Can anyone confirm the current situation? Has this cleared up now? If so, what time will it be open until and will this still be a good way of me getting to my hostel near the Vatican around 10pm-ish? Many thanks!

where did you read this? I didn't find anything about repair works of the metro a. However there are many bus lines, search here http://infopoint.atac.roma.it/ , just put the addressEdited by: AlessandroLdg

The works on the metro A ended several months ago and now closing time on weekdays is 11.30pm.However, if you land after 9 you won't be able to arrive at Ottaviano by 10-ish.
As an alternative to the bus to Anagnina you can catch one to Termini (cheapest company is €3.90, buy it at the arrivals terminal or on the bus) and then take the metro to Ottaviano.
