Oahu Hawaii Feb/March
Is anyone interested in joining me for a trip to Oahu Hawaii in Feb/March of 2013?I will be primarily going there to hike the Haiku Stairs, but then spending a week checking the place out, going to the beach, etc. I'm a 22 year old female from NZ (recently moved to Canada) and don't want to hike the Haiku Stairs alone as it can be dangerous. Looking to book my tickets as soon as poss, so please contact me if keen! Cheers.

WHen I was last in Oahu (May 2009 so its been a while) the Haiku Stairs were closed to the public. I did make an effort anyway to climb them as a solo gal but unfortunately, there were city municipal workers doing some work right at the base so not really possible to venture upwards. I'm still bummed I missed out on the opportunity. Interested to know if they are now re-opened.FYI, it was a pain trying to park my rental car in the somewhat near vicinity too as its a quiet neighborhood and you have to venture on folk's property to get to the access point.
