Trekking or mountainbiking in South Africa or Lesotho in February

Hi,
I am going to South Africa for four weeks (roughly - the month of february 2013). The first couple of weeks I will visit relatives there. Afterwards, however, I would very much like to go trekking for some days ( 4 - 5 days, perhaps even more), but I do not have a companion for this. I was thinking about the Wild Coast or Lesotho, but I am open to suggestions. I am looking for travel companions and / or recommendations for guided tours.
I am 51 years old, male and quite fit. I speak English, German and Danish/Scandinavian and I am interested in scenery as well as cultural attractions.

In Lesotho the Malealea lodge www.malealea.co.ls is one of a few places that organise treks, from one to several days. Great place. Hiking along the 3500m-high escarpment on the west side of Lesotho at the SA border is very impressive, but weather changes can be dangerous so go prepared.

Thanks for the link, Jeroen! Malealea seems to be a great place. If anybody is interested to join me for a late February hike, please make an entry!

I read in older LP guide that there are minibus services from Maseru to Malealea twice a day. Does anybode have any updated information on this?
