Between Andorra and La Tour de Carol end of Little Yellow Train

I've not found this specific pair of points in my searches here for how to get to/from Andorra. I've found lots of good info re Barcelona, Toulouse, l'Hospitalet-pre-l'Andorre, etc., but not specifically btwn Andorra and the end of the Little Yellow Train.

Any ideas? I can't even find them on a map so I could figure out how close they are and maybe just decide to see if I could find a taxi to take me from one to the other!

Thx in advance,

Tom

From other accounts I've read, you'd have to catch a bus from Latour de Carol to L'Hospitalet,
Here's the info on the bus line that offers service from L'Hospitalet
http://www.montmantell.com/index.php?accion=itinerari&idmenu=2&id=14

The correct name for L'Hospitalet is:
L'Hospitalet-près-l'Andorre, Ariège, Midi-Pyrénées, France

If you look up Latour de Carol (google maps, you can get directions to L'Hospitalet (etc) and it will show you that it is 17.4 km
You will also see that it is on a route heading away from Pas de la Casa.

Have you checked out hppt://www.seat61.com to see if The Man in Seat 61 has any recommendations? It is THE site for rail info and advice.

One year (we spent vacations in Aude & Ariege) we planned on taking Le Petit Train Jaune but when we arrived to buy tickets we were told 'not today, tomorrow'. It was early April so perhaps that had something to do with it but there were many more people who came in looking for the same thing.
We had rented a house in Mirepoix so we drove there, following the train route most of the way.
Seeing the bridges and heights the train route encompasses, we were both very thankful the train wasn't running that day: We are both not good with heights.
The views were fantastic, the scenery wonderful, but don't take the train unless you have a head for heights.
Pas de la Casa is a great place for shopping (duty free) but doesn't have that much more to recommend it...
Even though it's not part of Schengen you probably won't get your passport stamped, if that was a concern...

There were buses from Latour de Carol to Andorra but I can't find references about them now so I'm not sure if they still exist. If there aren't buses running on your travel dates, you can take a train from Latour de Carol to L'Hospitalet près L'Andorre (operated by the SNCF) and a bus from L'Hospitalet près L'Andorre to Andorra (you can consult here the schedule of these buses).

@timhorgan (#3): I can't see any reference to Latour de Carol (the OP's departure point) in the web you linked.
