Staying in Paris for a month! Please HELP! :)
Hello there! :)After a lot of discussion with some friends of mine, I have decided to travel to Paris with three friends for a month next year. We have decided to stay in Paris for this long, to try and live like the locals and to broaden our knowledge of the French language. Also, a friend of mine is a photographer and intends to do some photographic work over there.
I have know idea which arrondisment we should stay in. As young adults who love to party, drink, eat, see, shop and experience, we have our hopes on staying in a beautiful area of the city which is close to the tourist sights, good clubs and bars, nice bistros and has a magical Parisian feel. We are pretty fussy people haha :)
Can anyone please help us as to where about's in the city we should stay and why we should stay there.

How much do you want to spend?You can do most of those things almost anywhere in Paris,but it will cost you a lot more in (say) the Marais than it will in more outlying areas.

I am willing to spend approximately 2500 over the course of the month, and that would be including accommodation, food, tourist attractions, transportation and shopping. :) My friends have approximately the same amount, and of course we will split the costs of accommodation.And when I said magical, I didn't mean fairies and wizards hahaha :) I'm sorry if I confused anyone. I mean't beautiful cobblestone streets, romantic cafes, that sort of thing!
So can anyone suggest a nice arrondissment or part of the city? Thanks :)
