computer monitor in havana?

1If you are in Havana, you should ask around. I would think Carlos III or the department store in Obisbo would a place to start. If not available directly, as I don't think it is an illegal merchandize, maybe someone will pick up your interest.
If you are not in Havana, I would recommend you to bring it with you.

4Ok, I know there's a "computer" shop in the Galeria Paseo where I bought blank CD's a couple of years ago. Up on the second floor.
Also I'd give a shot at the "Centro Comercial Quinta y 42" out in Miramar. There's one shop in there that has just lots of commercial goods due to the proximity of many of the foreign embasies.
Absolutely no idea on prices however.

9Get a 24" Toshiba LCD HDTV with DVD for $260 from walmart.com, pay the tax in Cuba using either the correct/original invoice with you or mockup a invoice for $150 on your computer and print it out to take with you..
The cheaper China 24" (refurb as low as $100) are junk...
Not possible to find/beat the value of a hand-carry into Cuba, assuming it arrived with you intact.
