Tourist visas when flying in from Mexico City

My husband and I are flying on Interjet from Mexico City to Havana in early November (first-time visitors to Cuba). We're American citizens. I've been assuming we will be able to get our Cuban tourist cards either in the airport or on the plane. Is that a safe assumption (an if not, what should we do?)

Don't worry, Interjet is very particular and helpful about this. You will buy them on check-in, at a separate counter (you will be directed to it) and they will cost 250MXN.

Have a wonderful first trip and let us know how it went.

oops - $250mxn each, that is :-) Or $USD25 I guess, if that's all the currency you have.
