SIM Card for a Trip to Ireland
Hello,I am traveling to Ireland for 10 days, and I was wondering which irish mobile phone companies offer the best disposable SIM cards (without a contract) I can use with my unblocked american iPhone?
A SIM card that allows mobile internet would be lovely and come in handy.
And if anyone knows prices would be lovely.
Thank you very much

Three has what looks like a good offer and I have a friend who uses this without complaint. I'm with Virgin who don't offer iPhone. The gf has a contract O2 HTC and is happy with their coverage and this is their offers for pre-pay SIM.If you are planning to buy it when you arrive in Ireland and you are landing in Dublin go to either Grafton St or Henry St and all the mobile phone companies are in these streets. You could go chat to them.
Not being an iPhoney myself, are you certain your 4G iPhone works in Ireland with a 3G sim and system? Just asking.

For a Standard Sim card Tesco Ireland has the rest beaten Hands down but you need the Micro Sim for an iPhone so 3 or Meteor would be the best option 02 pay as you go is not something I would go anywhere near (had a contract with them for a couple of years myself). Your phone will need to be unlocked and able to accept alternative sim cards/operators.5
I have 3 and they have a deal where a 20 euro topup gets you 30 days of free texts, free weekend calls, and unlimited (within reason, I think they cut you off at about 10/15GB) internet. If you think you'll text a lot and use the internet a lot this might be handy, as otherwise those can really start to add up.Otherwise, O2 is decent and Tesco is also popular among students, especially visiting ones.
