Best Place to be for Xmas in PanamaHey All,
I am travelling to panama, and we have not made any plans as yet other than a trip to the San Blas Islands. The question is, where in panama is the best place to be for Christmas, and will this need to be booked asap? is there any specific festival we should attend over this period?
going with a friend of mine, and we are not afraid of a drink or three, so very keen to make the most of Xmas while we are out there.
Any suggestions much appreciated!

1I might be able to help you out if you can answer a few quesitons:
1. Are you planning on staying in a hostel or hotel?
2. Are you looking for a party-place to stay, or a quiet place to stay and party elsewhere?
3. How long do plan on being in Panama?
4. Looking to just hang and party, or wanting to experience as much of Panama as you can while you are here?
5. Wanting to do any tours or adventures throughout the day?
6. What are you doing in San Blas?
Okay, that's more than a few, but really, if you'd like help, the more answers I can get, the better of a vaca we can put together for you!

thanks for the response. looking at it so far, I think the two weeks that we where looking for would probably be something like this:
arrive in PC on the 15th evening.
16th - 18th boat trip around San Blas/ stay on the islands.
19th - 24th Santa Catalina for surfing, fishing, and a trip to Coiba.
25th - 28th - Bocas Del toro for beach, and partying
28th evening - out in PC.
29th Fly out of PC back to London.
Answers to your questions.
Probably mid level budget, happy in either hostels or hotels.
Quiet place to stay and party elsewhere
will want to do some tours as mentioned above.
not sure what we are going to do in san blas, but perhaps a boat trip and some island hopping.

4ShaWEET!! Now that you've taken the time to thoroughly answer my questions, I've got myself a project! (you'd be surprised how many people want help but don't want to do anything to help people help them - da! haha). Anyway, I am off work for the next week, so let me talk to some friends in the biz, and we'll whip you up PLENTY of options...including what NOT to miss...Cool? I was in Bocas Del Toro last year at this time, so I'm not hip to the going's on in the city yet, but I am DEFINITELY gonna find out for you!
