Weekend tours from Heidelberg/KarlsruheHi,
I am travelling to Germany in November and I would like to do some weekend tours in the 2 weekends that I am there.
I know of the tour operator ikarus-reisen that many of my colleagues have used in the past, but they don't have an itinerary that suits me. Is there any other reputed tour operator who does weekend tours via coach? I would like some tours that leave on the Friday night and return back by Sunday night.
I am thinking of going to Berlin and Switzerland this time.

1What do you need a coach tour for? To Berlin, take the highspeed ICE train which gets you there in 5 hours, instead of wasting a full day on the bus each way. Ditto for Switzerland - depending where in Switzerland you want to go and what you intend to do there, simply take the train. Book a hotel via some internet portal, and off you go.

3For a Berlin trip you should really allocate 3-4 days. Air Berlin flies from Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) to Berlin-Tegel Airport (TXL).
From Karlsruhe you're in 4 hours at Interaken/Switzerland (partly even direct trains). Albeit November is definitely not the best time for Switzerland.
What about day trips to closer destinations: Stuttgart, Strasbourg (France), Heidelberg, Black Forest, Baden-Baden, Freiburg?
