I haven't been able to get it to come up for 3 days. I just get a plain white page with "Server Hangup" at the top.
I still have some time, but wondering if others are having trouble reaching the site.
Thanks
At the busy Thai border (Aranyaprathet/Poi Pet, connected by train to Bangkok) I found it a big relief that I already obtained an "eVisa" behind my desk at home in Europe, because here all kinds of vendors are offering "help" to you which could make you very nervous. Most Cambodians are nice and relaxed people, but at this border they are really agressive.
At the (relatively new and quiet) Vietnam border at the coast (Xa Xia/Prek Chak) eVisa is not valid anyway, and obtaining a visa is easy anyway. If you take the bus from Ha Tien (Vietnam) to Kep and Sihanoukville, you can pay for the visa if you buy the bus ticket, even in Vietnamese dong (not at a very favourable rate though).
Ban Pakard, Chantaburi, Thailand/Phsar Prom Border Crossing: Pailin, Cambodia
Cambodian visas available. Thai transit visas available.
Located in Pailin, Cambodia, opposite Thailand's Chantaburi province. From Bangkok, bus to Chantaburi for about 150 baht (4 hours). Mini bus to border for about 100 baht (1-2 hours). Cross border. Motodup to Pailin. Taxi from Pailin to Battambang (shared taxi for 200baht, private for $25-$30.)

Works for me. I know it's a bit of a hassle, but I was also considering getting mine at the embassy in Bangkok.33

Evisa is not accepted at this border crossing and this is the route I've decided to take, hence I will get my visa at the border.Ban Pakard, Chantaburi, Thailand/Phsar Prom Border Crossing: Pailin, Cambodia
