suggestions for great landscape photography
Hi we are Travelling dec 12 to jan 14. Starting in Hanoi then to sapa by train, then to halong bay after that by bus to ninh binh, and down the coast by train or bus to hoi an Does any one have suggestions of other must see places. Also best way to travel in between. Best trekking in sapa. Best hotels. Cooking schools along the way too.3
Each places have their own pros and cons.Ha Giang: Dongvan Stone Plateau, Meo Vac, Ma Phi Leng, etc
Sapa: Ham Rong, Siver Waterfall, Lao Chai, Ta Van, etc.
They are ideal destinations for photography.
For trekking in Sapa, you should go to villages such as Lao Chai, Ta Van, Cat Cat, Shine Chai, there are many things to explore, from landscape to local people's life.
For hotels, suggestions for you: Holiday Views, Fansipan View, Bamboo Sapa, Chau Long. Homestay is also very popular in Sapa
Have a nice trip!

If you get to Nha Trang, Amiana Resort will be open mid January and they will have the best landscape in Vietnam. About as good photography as you will ever get! Beautiful shots over the man made natural sea water lagoon , across Turtle Bay to Turtle Island, or a shot from their sensational lobby with a huge infinity pool suspended 10 metres in the air and Turtle Bay as the backdrop. You won't find better than that. Maybe Turtle Island at sunrise but hard to beat.9
If you like night life then some rooftop bars in Hanoi or HCM may help,10
Highly recommend you visit Dalat (also called Le Petit Paris) with many charming landscapes for you exploring.Take a look an example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dalattrip/7348347408/
