Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary Kerala
Is Periyar Wildlife sanctuary affected by the Government restrictions on visitors to areas which contain tigers? I've looked on the Periyar website and it makes no reference to any closures?4
Good luck getting an answer to this LR13.I am wondering the same thing about Ranthambhore National Park and can't seem to find an answer.

We have been looking at this with regard to Ranthambore, apparently the Supreme Court of India has decided today to end the temporary ban on tourist activities in the core areas of National Parks so safaris should start operating very soon, though there may be some restrictions on the routes these are permitted to follow in some parks. I've been told that in the case of Ranthambore, the park safaris will resume from tomorrow (17/10) onwards. That being said I am considering revising our itinerary to spend an extra day each in Jaipur (will allow us to visit Sanganer to indulge my interest in fabric) and Delhi (to do a street walk with the Salaam Balack trust) and skipping Ranthambore given this uncertainty.
