Nursing Abroad

Hi, I'm a registered nurse in the US and I have a three week vacation coming up at the end of April 2013 so I wanted to go volunteer in Asia but not pay an arm and a leg for it. I only have three weeks so I need it to be a short term volunteer program and I'd like it to be medically related preferably. Does anyone have any legit suggestions? Please let me know! Thanks!

Few, if any legitimate short-term opportunities, except maybe surgical or missions teams, and those tend to be insular and hard to find if you aren't in that particular loop.

Better, I think, to just go and have a good time. Give yourself a break. I know about these things. Trust me.

Yep, b_c does indeed know about this stuff! And, he makes a good suggestion.
