Not to confuse the OP ... The term 'auto-rickshaw' (or just 'auto') is used in India. 'Tuk tuk' is the term used in Thailand/SE Asia.OP, it's good practice to ask a few taxi and/or autorickshaw drivers their prices. You'll not only get informed, it might help lower the price when other drivers see you asking around.

Apart from taking an auto-rickshaw or a taxi, the only other option is walking. There's no public transport along this route, except for the occasional shared rickshaw, and you can't take a shared rickshaw if you have any significant baggage. You can probably get an auto-rickshaw down to 50 Rupees for this trip, but you'll have to bargain a bit.7
When I went 1.5 years ago there was a pre-pay auto-rickshaw booth at Agra Cantt station - this is the best way to avoid being ripped off or spending ages haggling (they have to take you for the listed price). I think it was 50 R to one of the guesthouses very near the Taj. Providing the pre-pay booth is still there this is the best way to go!
