Getting from Port Elizabeth/East London to Lesotho

Hello! I will be in Port Elizabeth next week and I am wanting to go to Lesotho! The problem is I really do not know what is the best way to get there..any advice? I'm assuming from East London there may be a bus? Anyone heading that direction that I could ride with?

Your best bet is to travel to Bloemfontein from Port Elizabeth either by bus or by plane. Then take a bus or shared taxi from Bloemfontein to Maseru

Hi there, I'm pretty sure you can get a bus from port Elizabeth to bloomfontein.you can check the greyhound website for timetables.. From there you'll need to get a taxi to the mini bus taxi station (make sure you tell the taxi driver to take you to the station where the buses go to maseru. Be very careful at the station in bloomfontein, my friend got his wallet stolen there. But once you're careful you should be ok! Have fun!

Hi,

Please could you let me know how you get on with this journey? I'm aiming to do the same in a few weeks and I'm really unsure about the whole thing. I've found a coach (probably with Intercape) from Port Elizabeth or East London to Bloemfontein and I've heard rumours of a 6am coach from Bloemfontein to Maseru but nothing solid.

Thanks, would be really useful to have some up to date info on this!
