Aso (dog meat) with red rice.

Traditional food in Benguet Province (in the Cordilliera Adm Region).

In this area consumption is not -as in some other parts of Philippines- "pulutan" only ( = Filipino = snack food serving while drinking alcoholic beverages).
It's a meal for itself ... "well made" in different ways (recipes).

I haven't had pinikpikan in years. Sigh. I also prefer the smoked etag. The sun dried is a bit hmm...
