Itinerary Help – Singapore, Southern Vietnam & Siem Reap

Hello,

I need help trip planning, my current 16 night itinerary is:

My girlfriend and I (mid 20s) will most likely be flying in and out of Singapore from Canada, so we’ve chosen to spend 2 nights in Singapore to help break down our travel time. We’ve also considered flying to HCMC although this option adds about an additional 12-14 hours of travel time.

Questions:
Should we remove Singapore from our trip and spend more time elsewhere? If so where?

Should we consider adding Phnom Penh to our travel plans?

We’d like some time to relax on the beach, we’ve read that Phan Theit is the closest beach town to HCMC, are there any other beach towns close to HCMC? Could we get some recommendations on beach towns, don’t necessarily have to close to HCMC but easily accessible (train or plane)?

Is 1 night enough for the Mekong Delta?

Any other generally suggestions regarding our itinerary?

Thanks.

Personally. I would keep Singapore as a part.
4 days for a beach? I am not a beach person. If this is your first trip to SE Asia then I would perhaps reduce the number of days on a beach. Maybe add that to go to PP.
